Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Prepfy ("Prepfy", "we", "us"), an online question-bank and study platform for dental licensing exams, available at prepfy.co. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. Who sells you the service

Payments are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd), which acts as the Merchant of Record and seller of record (authorised reseller) for all purchases made through Prepfy. This means Paddle — not Prepfy — is the seller for your transaction and handles billing and tax, and Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase. Prepfy provides the service itself.

2. Your account

You must give accurate information and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. One account is for one person — accounts and access are not to be shared, resold, or transferred. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country.

3. The free trial and what you pay

• The free trial requires a valid payment card and gives full access for the trial period.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts automatically to a one-time charge for the plan you select, giving full access for that plan's duration, at the price shown to you at checkout. This is a single, fixed-term purchase — it does not renew, and you will not be charged again automatically.
• Plans are offered for different access durations; the available options, prices, and trial length are shown on the Pricing & Trial page and at checkout before you confirm.
• You can cancel the trial at any time before it ends — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You may use Prepfy for your own exam preparation only. You must not: copy, scrape, download in bulk, republish, resell, or distribute any questions, explanations, or other content; share your account or access; use automated tools to extract content; attempt to break, probe, or disrupt the service; or use the service unlawfully. The content is the result of significant work and is protected — misuse may end your access without refund.

5. Intellectual property

All questions, explanations, rationales, and other materials on Prepfy are owned by Prepfy or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other rights. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own study during your access period. No other rights are granted.

6. No guarantee of results — not professional advice

Prepfy is a study aid. We work to keep content accurate and aligned with current UK guidance, but we do not guarantee that you will pass any exam, and content may contain errors or become out of date. Prepfy is not clinical, medical, or professional advice and must not be relied on for patient care. Always check primary sources and current official guidance. Exams and their blueprints are owned by their respective bodies; Prepfy is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any examining body.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change, suspend, or withdraw features. We may update content at any time.

8. Termination

You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms (for example, sharing or scraping content). Where we end access for a serious breach, you may not be entitled to a refund.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to let you know. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
